Ms. Papia Monoura has joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 2012 as a member of 30^th BCS (Audit & Accounts) Cadre. She is currently serving in the Audit and Accounts department, contributing to public financial management and governance through her expertise in audit, accounts, and public sector financial management.

Before joining the Audit and Accounts Department, she served at Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI), Savar, for around six years, where she gained valuable professional experience in research administration and public service.

She completed her graduation in Veterinary Science from Bangladesh Agricultural University and later earned a Master of Science in Microbiology from the same institution. Expanding her academic and professional expertise, she also obtained a Master of Science in Public Administration (Finance) from University of Birmingham, UK.

In addition to her academic qualifications, she has successfully completed several prestigious professional certifications, including CISA, IPSAS Certification, and the Advanced Diploma Level of CIPFA from the UK. These qualifications have further strengthened her professional competence in public sector auditing, financial reporting, governance, and international public financial accounting standards.

She comes from Sakhipur Upazila of Tangail district. She is married and blessed with a daughter. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and travelling, which help her maintain a balanced and enriched personal life.

She has also had the opportunity to travel to many countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, and France, among others. These international exposures have broadened her professional perspective and enriched her understanding of global practices and cultures.

With a strong academic foundation, diversified professional expertise, and a commitment to continuous learning, Ms. Monoura remains committed to contribute effectively to the field of audit and accounts while upholding excellence in public service and professional development.
